Strawberry Butter Cake

Ingredients:
1 pack Strawberry Cake Mix
1 stick Butter, melted
4 Large Eggs
8 oz Cream Cheese
2 cups Confection Sugar
1 cup Strawberries, chopped
Instructions:
Prepare the Crust: Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg. Mix until a thick, dough-like consistency forms.
Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased baking dish (9x13 for a thinner layer or 9x7 for a thicker crust).
Make the Filling: In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the remaining 3 eggs and continue mixing until fully incorporated. Gradually mix in the confectioners’ sugar, then fold in the strawberries.
Bake: Pour the filling over the prepared crust and spread evenly. Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the center is still jiggly.
Cool & Serve: Allow the cake to cool completely so it can fully set before serving. Top with whipped cream and additional strawberries, if desired.
Special Note
Wash the strawberries thoroughly with baking soda and water to help remove any remaining pesticides or residue.
