Ingredients:
1 LB Ground Italian Sausage
3 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grated
2 cans Crescent Rolls
8 oz Cream Cheese
Instructions:
Sausage & Cream Cheese: Cook the sausage, breaking it into small pieces, then drain the excess grease. Reduce heat to low, add the cream cheese, and stir until melted and the sausage is fully coated.
Prep Dish: Lightly oil a 9x13 baking dish.
Assemble: Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the dish, pinching seams as needed. Spread the sausage mixture over the dough, sprinkle with cheddar, then top with the second can of dough as a full sheet.
Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned.
Special Note
Baking in a large pan will yield thinner slices. For thicker slices, either double the recipe when using a large dish or bake a single batch in a smaller dish, such as an 8×8.
